Farm Stays

What better way is there to experience rural Scotland than staying on a working farm. As well as getting to experience life in a farm, many farm stays also offer outdoor pursuits such as quad biking, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting, archery, orienteering, river fishing and are often the setting for glamping. "Pick Your Own" is also pretty popular in Scotland its great to be able to leisurely pick strawberry or apples on a sunny afternoon.

Many farms run Bed and Breakfast accommodation and with so many producing there own produce its a great place to experience a full Scottish fry-up. A useful resource for searching for accommodation on farms is on the Go Rural website and it is also very handy for finding farm shops and booking farm tours.

Farm stay s also overlap with some of the other sections on this website so feel free to check out our shepherd huts, glamping, mountain biking and quad biking sections too.
